Water-based, ultra-light, and highly beneficial. An assortment of marine extracts offers pure vitamins and minerals for thirsty skin. Seaweed is rich in humectants, which trap and retain water and is an optimal ingredient for immediate hydration and a is a large source of micronutrients that help refine pores, diminish blemishes, and improve the overall look of skin. Key ingredient functions and product benefits: It is important to maintain a regular moisturizing routine to keep the skin from becoming too irritated or dry. Dehydrated skin can result in breakouts as the skin overcompensates by producing more oil. A very light moisturizer may be desired in order to reduce shine and maintain skin’s moisture balance, therefore reducing the need for make up powders (which can contain pore clogging ingredients). The primary cause of dryness in oily skin is excessive water evaporation from the skin surface. Rich in humectants (the substances that can trap and hold water) this product helps to keep the skin hydrated while controlling oil overproduction. Amino acid complex, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Sodium PCA, and Sodium Hyaluronate provide moisture binding activity. Aloe Vera helps to soothe the skin. Absorbs rapidly providing immediate hydration. Seaweed Extracts (Fucus, Laminaria Digitata, Spirulina, Lithothamnion) help to reduce sebaceous secretion and regulate the pH of the skin. Seaweed contains a large variety of different micronutrients. They form a bond with the skin proteins, maintaining optimal hydration, helping to refine pores, reduce oiliness, soothe irritation, fight blemishes, soften and improve texture. Contains Pentapeptides for improved Collagen and Elastin production to further reduce and slow the formation of new lines and wrinkles.
